Practical workplace experience for the next generation of legal professionals.
Each year, Morakile Tibane Attorneys Inc. offers a formal Vacation Programme to university students. The Programme enables students in the legal and associated fields to obtain a practical sense of the day-to-day activities of attorneys, and is an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience and develop your skills.
During the vacation programme, participants will be assigned to a team of professionals (Directors, Manager, Attorneys and Administrative Staff). Day-to-day activities may include consultations, drafting of legal documents, client interaction, legal research, court attendance and procurement.
Our annual vacation programme for students has gained a reputation as an exciting and rewarding experience. Participants benefit through:
University students in their second year of study and onwards, pursuing an LLB, B.A Law, BCom Law and B.A Politics or related legal or governance-focused qualifications.
Have a brief but professional application packet which includes:
A 1-2 page resume highlighting your education, part-time work, leadership roles and extracurricular activities.
A tailored, 1-page letter briefly outlining your academic background, interest in the programme and legal or governance-related work, as well as what you hope to gain from the job shadow programme.
Proof of enrolment at an academic institution.
Winter vacation programme: 01 June – 19 June
Dates for the summer vacation programme application window will be announced closer to the time.
